The Love Letter Zine
A zine featuring Missoula writers and their first drafts. A zine celebrating the writing process and collaboration
Dear Reader,
If you find yourself on this page, please note that this is in development. I'm reaching out to other writers in Missoula because I want to create a space where we can share our writing process and share our first drafts with an audience who might want to be inspired themselves; or, who want to play along.
I accidentally found myself writing a novel and I want to share it with readers as I write it, or I'm afraid I'll never write it.
As a working class writer, I need deadlines. Yes, all of my deadlines are arbitrary, but they feel good to have them because they keep me going.
I reached back into history because the idea of writing a novel in a serial way has always fascinated me. As of right now, I'm framing the novel I'm writing as "episodes," and I have recently put out the pilot episode in what I'm calling The Love Letter Zine.
I want to share this space with other writers so we can have fun and create something exciting.
My desire for this publishing collective is to pave a path that helps sustain one another, writer and reader.
Below is the pilot episode in PDF form. Have a read.
